This policy describes how AisleProof AI processes information when you install and use the app. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

Information we process

We access your Shopify product catalog using the read_products permission. Product checks use product identifiers, titles, descriptions, category and type, tags, image URLs and alternative text, SEO fields, and relevant variant information. We store product check evidence, scores, issues, history, app settings, usage counters, generated suggestions and report records.

We also process your shop domain, installation status, subscription identifiers and status, and Shopify authentication/session information. Session information may include a Shopify staff identifier, name or email when provided by Shopify. Access tokens are used on the server to provide the app. We do not request customer or order access scopes or collect customer payment-card information.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate access, run catalog checks, display results and history, generate requested suggestions and reports, enforce subscription allowances, support merchants, and maintain security. Product checks do not automatically modify your Shopify products. You review and apply changes yourself.

AI suggestions and service providers

When you request an AI suggestion, selected product text (title, description, category and detected issue codes) is sent to the configured Doubao service through Volcengine Ark in the Beijing region of China. Our app removes recognizable URLs, email addresses and phone numbers from that text before sending it. Automated redaction is not guaranteed to remove every identifier; do not put confidential or personal information in product text used for AI generation. Image pixels and Shopify access tokens are not included in AI prompts. Suggestions require your review and may be inaccurate.

DigitalOcean provides app and database hosting in the United States. Shopify provides the commerce platform, authentication and app billing. These providers process information needed to supply their services. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply. Your information may be processed outside your country. We do not sell personal information or use app data for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

Visible check history is limited by your plan: 30 days for Starter, 90 days for Growth, and 365 days for Pro. Historical records may remain in storage until a cleanup or deletion process runs. Authentication and usage records are kept as needed to operate the app. Uninstalling revokes app access, removes stored sessions and stops checks; Shopify's subsequent shop deletion webhook removes stored shop records and their associated data. You can also contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of information associated with your store. We may verify your authority before fulfilling a request.

Security and your choices

The app uses HTTPS and server-side credentials. No system is completely secure. You can stop using AI generation, review app permissions in Shopify, cancel your subscription in the app, uninstall through Shopify, or contact us for assistance. Mandatory Shopify customer-data webhooks are acknowledged; the app does not maintain customer records.

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
